The Best @Home remedies for Acne

Our skin is a reflection of our internal health. There are many remedies to get rid of acne. One can depend both on medicines and homemade remedies. But its good to switch on to homemade remedies for it has no side effects.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar My Favourite ACV is a powerhouse when it comes to acting as an acne remedy. Why? It kills off the bacteria that may be causing all the trouble in the first place. It also becomes alkaline, and balances the pH of your skin, which in turn makes it harder for bacteria to thrive. The best in the market is Bragg’s apple cider vinegar(I personally use it and like it the most).
Papaya
Papaya is an essential ingredient in a lot of beauty products on the market today.
Plain raw papaya is an all-natural acne remedy that removes dead skin cells and excess lipids from the surface of the skin, leaving it soft and smooth. Papaya also contains an enzyme called papain, which reduces inflammation and helps prevent the pus from forming. Just mash the papaya and apply on your skin.
Tea tree oil
Its antibacterial properties also kill off the acne causing bacteria, and prevent further outbreaks.
Tea Tree Oil is ok for topical use, but should never be ingested. It should also always be diluted before use. Add it to any of your favorite oil or moisturizer.
Coconut Oil
This has so far been my favorite. Make sure its extra virgin coconut oil. Apply a very little oil like 2-3 drops all over your face and see the magic. You can even mix 1-2 drops of tea tree oil to it. It not only helps with acne but also lightens acne scars.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera gel not only is soothing, it works as an anti-inflammatory, decreasing redness and swelling. It also has antibacterial properties. Just extract the gel from the plant directly and apply to the affected area. Make sure to do a patch test.
Garlic
Garlic is a great natural remedy for acne because of its antibacterial properties. You can either ingest it, or apply it topically to help reduce the severity of your breakouts and prevent them in the future. Just mash few garlic cloves and dilute it in very little water and apply to your acne.
Honey
Honey’s antibiotic properties can help improve acne. Apply a teaspoon of honey to affected areas or entire face and wash after 30 mins.
Try any of these and I am sure you will like them. I have oily, acne-prone skin and my favorite remedy out of these is the apple cider vinegar followed by coconut oil. Believe me I tried almost everything available in the market but this is thing that worked for me. The best thing is its pocket friendly, effective with no side effects.
(NOTE: All these remedies are natural and will take time to work. You have to follow it religiously. Don't forget to do a patch test before applying anything to your acne directly.)
