Forget Cellulite - Natural Tips!

Cellulite, an uncomfortable topic for most of us. The so called cottage cheese effect and dimples on our thighs, butts, and stomach is simply fat stores that press against connective tissue and distort skin. Cellulite is pretty common in women, but men aren’t free of the lumps either. Cellulite is caused by genetics, diet, lifestyle, age, and hormones, but there is one big culprit that lurks behind all of this, toxinsIncreased amount of toxins in the blood also causes cellulite on the body. When they are left unnoticed they tend to get worse over a period. More than 85% of women suffer from cellulite in their lifetime.

So rather than spending money on expensive cellulite treatments in the market which will not have long-lasting effects, you can try the following ways which will not only reduce and prevent cellulite but these are also the ways to live a healthy life and look & feel as beautiful as you can.

Detox: Apple cider vinegar  My Favourite, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar is an excellent and very effective natural remedy for cellulite. It contains the essential minerals potassium, magnesium and calcium, which all help to detox the body and remove excess fluid (retention). ACV also helps to build up the good bacteria in your stomach and colon. This not only improves your digestion and assimilation of food and nutrients, it also provides a further detox and cleanse by helping your body get rid of all the toxins. In addition, apple cider vinegar helps with metabolism so it’s also an excellent weight loss and toning aid. Mix two tablespoons of ACV in a glass of warm water and drink 5 mins before meal. Repeat this process 2-3 times a day. You may also add a teaspoon of honey to the mix if you find yourself struggling with the taste.

Coffee Wraps: Warm 1/2 cups of fresh coffee grounds and mix them with 1-2 table spoons of extra virgin olive oil. Mix them together and apply the mix on your skin in upward motions, where you have cellulite. Rub gently for few minutes and then wrap it up with a plastic cover for about 20-30 mins. Remove plastic and wipe the area with damp washcloth. Repeat this process 3 times a week and follow it consistently for 6-8 weeks to see results. Coffee and olive oil for cellulite removal works wonders because of the stimulants in the caffeine. Caffeine dilates blood vessels and increases blood flow which can lend the skin a more firm, tight, smooth and toned appearance.

Drink Enough Water: The most important thing you must understand for cellulite reduction is drinking lots of water. If you start drinking 3 litres of water daily, you will reduce your cellulite quickly and for the best results, squeeze 2-3 lemons in the water. Drinking lots of water will have a great effect on your cellulite, will keep your body hydrated and will reduce bloating and bad water from your body.

Use a Massaging Brush Try PANACHEAnti-Cellulite Massager Massage the cellulite prone areas of your with massaging every day in the beginning and 3 times a week after you’ve already reduced your cellulite. It’s good to apply coconut oil to your skin and then massage the skin for 5-10 minutes daily in circular upwards motions using the cellulite Massage Brush.

Green Tea: You can replace your regular tea/coffee with green tea. The powerful antioxidants in green tea fight off deadly free radicals and help remove toxins from the body. Green tea is also a potent thermogenic, so it helps you burn body fat (including cellulite fat) for energy.

Gelatin: (Easily available in supermarkets or online). Gelatin is rich in dietary collagen. And by taking a little gelatin every day, you won’t just notice your cellulite starting to fade, you’ll also notice your skin, hair and nails all looking much more healthier. Collagen is the protein that holds all of these things together. Gelatin also contains excellent amounts of the amino acids, glycine and proline, both of which are vital for fat and weight regulation.
(Note: Gelatin found in jelly-based candies is not good as it contains high amount of sugar which is not good for your skin.)

Castor Oil: Castor oil promotes the production of collagen and elastin, and penetrates deep into the skin. It is a terrific moisturizer that helps treat cellulite. Take some castor oil in a bowl and warm it. Massage the cellulite prone areas with it for 20 minutes. Wait for one hour and have shower with lukewarm water.

Eat a Healthy Diet: with lots of fresh veggies, fruits and protein and no to any processed and junk food.

ExerciseExercising is very important as it will help in toning the muscles and repair the tissues that connect the muscles to the skin.

(NOTE: Remember to follow these tips consistently for 6-8 weeks to see the results)
