Beauty Benefits of Mango!


Mango is the king of all fruits. It is the most delicious seasonal fruit grown in summers. They are rich source of vitamin A, an excellent source of antioxidants, particularly vitamin C which helps in cell rejuvenation & cell repair and vitamin E. It has anti-cancer and anti-ageing properties. It consists vitamin B6 and potassium which is really important for good organ functioning. Mangoes contain trace elements like copper, selenium, zinc, and potassium, which are essential for being healthy. The absence of these trace minerals can cause a lot of health problems. So, start including mangoes in your regular diet. Apart from its nutritional benefits, it is very effective in natural beauty remedies.

Treats Dark Spots

Mango is capable of treating dark spots and patches on the skin. As it is rich in AHA which is known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids, this also gives anti aging benefits too.


Do this-
Take dried mango skin and 1 teaspoon yogurt. Make a powder from the sun dried mango skin and mix it with a teaspoon of yogurt. Apply this to your face and wash off after 20 minutes. This will help in reducing dark spots, blemishes and makes the skin glow and looks brighter.



Skin Glowing Mango Mask

Due to excessive sweating in summer, our body loses fluids causing dehydration. Lack of fluids makes our body and skin looks tired and dull. To feel refreshed and active, take mango daily regular in your diet. Alternatively, use mangoes as a skin hydrator to get glowing skin. Make this mango mask and get the benefits of mangoes.

Do this-
Take 1 tablespoon of mango pulp. Add 1 tablespoon cucumber juice or tomato juice to it. Mix it well and apply to your skin. Wash it after 30 minutes and see the difference.

Tan Removal Mango Mask

Do this-
Take half mango and peel it out. Keep that pulp in a small bowl and add lemon juice into it. Mix it well thoroughly and apply all over the face or other tanned area. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash it with cold water. This face mask will give you fair and de-tanned skin instantly.

Mango Face pack for Dry Skin


Mangoes consists of moisturizing properties that help the dry skin to retain moisture and result in soft and smooth skin. It also consists of vitamin-A and vitamin-E that gives supple and firm skin. Mangoes will calm the dryness of the face and its starts to glow.


Do this-
Take one fresh mango and cut a small slice of it. Then take out the flesh or pulp and mash it well. Add a half tablespoon of honey in it. Mix the substances really well. Apply to the dry skin. Wait for 25 minutes and wash it thoroughly. Repeat 3 times in a week for best results.

Mango Face Scrubber

A good skin care routine is must for non-oily and non-sticky skin in summers. Scrubbing is an important step of the whole cleanup process. It deeply cleanses the pores, removes dead cells and takes out the excess oil and dust from it. Now you can make your homemade scrub with mangoes and use it anytime.

Do this-
Put some mango slice in a bowl and then add a half tablespoon of Brown Sugar. Add 1 table spoon of oatmeal and add little water if needed. Mix the above ingredients and make a thick paste. Scrub the mixture in gently with your finger tips in circular motion slowly onto the face. Do this for 10 mins and let it settle for another 20 mins. Then wash it with lukewarm water.
Alternately, you can do this,
Take 1 peeled mango, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon powdered almond and
1 teaspoon crushed oats. Blend a peeled mango along with 2 tablespoons of raw milk, powdered almonds and crushed oats in a blender. Apply this on your face and neck. Keep it on for 20 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water.

Improve Complexion with Mango Face Mask

Do this-
Take 3 tablespoons of fresh mango pulp. Add 1 tablespoon of raw milk or milk powder to it. Milk powder is very good for skin as it has lactic acid which helps in skin whitening. Add a teaspoon of honey and a pinch of turmeric to it. Mix all the above ingredients and make a pack. Now apply gently over the face or skin and wash it after 30 mins.

Prevents Hair Loss and Grey Hair

Mango Seed Oil is an excellent source of fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. The seed kernel itself has great moisturizing properties.

Do this-
Prepare mango seed oil by removing the outer coat of the mango seed and adding them to a jar of coconut, sesame or mustard oil and place this jar in the sunlight for a few days. Using this mixture consistently will make your hair long, black and thick and prevent hair loss.

(NOTE: Always be consistent for 6-8 weeks when trying any natural, home-made treatments. They are slow but effective without side-effects and chemical free. Don't forget to do a patch test if you have sensitive skin)
